Automation and incident response
Automation
Using scripts or tools so that a machine performs a task without human intervention that a person would otherwise do. It acts as a workforce multiplier because it enables faster, more consistent processing with fewer errors, but it carries risks such as complexity, cost, a single point of failure and technical debt.
