Vulnerability management

Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) CVE

A standardized public catalog in which each known security vulnerability is assigned a unique identifier (e.g. CVE-2024-1234) for easier tracking and referencing. CVE identifies which vulnerability is in question, while a separate scoring system (CVSS) speaks to its severity.
