Threat actors and vectors

Watering hole

An attack in which the attacker compromises a legitimate website that the targeted group regularly visits and spreads malicious code through it. Instead of hunting victims one by one, the attacker waits for the victims to come to the infected site themselves, like a predator at a watering hole.
