Threat actors and vectors

Typosquatting (registering similar domains)

A technique in which the attacker registers a domain visually similar to a legitimate one, counting on typos or user carelessness (e.g. gooogle.com). It is used for phishing pages, fake senders in BEC fraud and distributing malware.
