Resilience and recovery
Recovery sites: hot, warm, cold
Alternative locations for continuing operations after a disaster: a hot site is fully equipped and almost instantly ready, a warm site has equipment but requires configuration and the latest data, and a cold site is just a space with basic infrastructure. A hot site is the fastest but most expensive, a cold site the slowest but cheapest, and a warm site is a compromise between them.
