Quantitative risk analysis
Quantitative analysis expresses risk in concrete numbers and monetary amounts (e.g. SLE, ARO, ALE) so that risks can be compared and ranked. It can give a false sense of precision because the input data, such as probabilities and asset values, are often only estimates.
