Identity and access management (IAM)
Privileged Access Management (PAM) PAM
A set of tools and procedures for monitoring, controlling and logging accounts with elevated privileges such as administrator accounts. Privileged accounts carry the greatest risk, and PAM reduces it through a password vault, session recording and just-in-time (JIT) access that grants high privileges only briefly and as needed rather than permanently.
