DNS Security Extensions (DNSSEC) DNSSEC

A set of extensions that uses digital signatures to guarantee the authenticity and integrity of DNS responses and thereby prevents forgery (DNS spoofing). It does not encrypt DNS traffic or protect the privacy of queries, unlike DNS filtering, which blocks access to harmful domains at the name-resolution level.
