Sender Policy Framework (SPF) SPF

A DNS TXT record that lists which servers and IP addresses are authorized to send email on behalf of a given domain. By checking the SPF record, the recipient's server determines whether the message came from an allowed source, which makes spoofing the sender's address harder.
