CIS Benchmarks and DISA STIG

Publicly available guides with recommended secure configurations for operating systems and applications that serve as a reference during hardening. CIS Benchmarks are published by the Center for Internet Security, while the DISA STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guide) is developed by the U.S. Department of Defense as a stricter standard.
