Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) BYOD

An ownership model in which an employee uses their own personal device for work, unlike the COPE model where a company-owned device may also be used by the employee privately. With BYOD the key control is containerization, which separates business data into a dedicated encrypted container so it can be wiped without touching private data.
